Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Warehouse Manager to oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of our warehouse. As part of our online clothing store business, the Warehouse Manager will play a critical role in ensuring seamless inventory management, efficient order processing, and timely delivery to our customers across the UK.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Warehouse Operations Management:

    • Supervise day-to-day warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, packing, and dispatching orders.

    • Ensure all warehouse processes comply with health and safety regulations.

    • Optimize the use of space and resources in the warehouse for efficient operations.

  • Inventory Management:

    • Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management software (e.g., Shopify or other inventory systems).

    • Conduct regular stock checks to prevent stock discrepancies and ensure accurate reporting.

    • Coordinate with the purchasing team to manage stock levels and restocking schedules.

  • Order Fulfillment:

    • Ensure all orders are picked, packed, and shipped accurately and within established timelines.

    • Resolve any issues related to delayed or incorrect orders to maintain customer satisfaction.

  • Team Leadership:

    • Manage and motivate a small team of warehouse staff.

    • Plan and delegate daily tasks to ensure smooth workflow and productivity.

    • Provide training and guidance to warehouse staff to maintain high performance standards.

  • Quality Assurance:

    • Inspect incoming stock for quality and quantity to ensure it meets company standards.

    • Monitor packing and labeling processes to maintain accuracy and professionalism.

  • Process Improvement:

    • Identify areas for improvement in warehouse operations and implement efficient systems.

    • Work with other departments (e.g., customer service and marketing) to enhance the order fulfillment process.

  • Logistics Coordination:

    • Coordinate with couriers and shipping providers to ensure timely dispatch of orders.

    • Track and resolve any shipping or delivery issues.


Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or similar role in e-commerce, retail, or logistics.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.

  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.

  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management software.

  • Understanding of health and safety regulations.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize workloads in a fast-paced environment.

  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook).

  • Knowledge of the clothing industry or e-commerce operations is a plus.
